Research Technician
Zeinab joined the Zhang Lab in June 2026 as a Junior Specialist. She graduated from Princeton University as a Molecular Biology major with minors in Religion and Arabic. Her senior thesis with the Gavis Lab — a developmental biology lab that studies various RNA-related processes in Drosophila — implicated nucleoporins, or proteins of the nuclear pore complex, in the regulation of a range of early developmental processes, including the maintenance of transcriptional quiescence in germ cells. Her hobbies outside of the lab include reading fiction, drawing, and trying new coffee shops with friends and family.
