Principal Investigator
Dr. Elisa Zhang is an Assistant Professor in the departments of Physiology & Membrane Biology and Obstetrics & Gynecology. Elisa received her A.B. from Harvard College. After completing a Fulbright scholarship at EMBL Heidelberg in Dr. Andreas Ladurner's lab, she pursued her Ph.D. in molecular and cell biology in Dr. Robert Tjian's lab at UC Berkeley. She subsequently performed postdoctoral research as an A.P. Giannini Fellow in the labs of Dr. Julie Baker and Dr. Calvin Kuo at Stanford. When she isn’t busy with her young toddler, Elisa enjoys playing violin with her string quartet, traveling, and going to farmer’s markets.
